Where does Christ teach that He saves us from eternal torment? Nowhere. Where does Christ speak of eternal torment? Nowhere. Where does any scripture use the words eternal torment to describe the fate of anyone except Satan? Nowhere. Where does scripture teach that Jesus Christ saves us from anything other than death? Nowhere. Where does scripture teach that the wages of sin is death and that Christ saves us from the wages of sin? Everywhere.
